Following up on your first leads

Where to find new conversations, form submissions and visitor information, and how not to miss anything.

Once the widget is live on your site, conversations start to come in. LeadOcto collects them in three separate places: Inbox, Leads and Analytics.

Inbox, real-time conversations

Under 'Inbox' you see every form submission and direct message that visitors send through your widget. Each message has a status (new, in progress, handled) so it's easy to keep track.

The Inbox shows every incoming message with sender and context.

Enable email notifications under Settings → Notifications so that you get an email whenever a new message arrives.

Leads, who visited your website

The Leads page shows which companies and people have been on your site, which pages they viewed and which button they clicked. Useful for reaching out proactively to strong prospects.

Analytics, your conversion overview

Under 'Analytics' you'll find charts of views, clicks and conversions. At a glance you can tell whether the widget is doing its job and which button gets the most love.

Tip: take a look every week

The first two weeks after install are often the most informative. Book fifteen minutes each week to review the numbers and adjust your copy or buttons accordingly. Small changes can make a real difference.

Where to go from here

You now have a working installation. From here, there's plenty more: add more channels, set up smart triggers, run A/B tests or hook up CRM integrations. We cover all of that in the other Knowledge Base categories.
